Aptamil AR 1 is a food for special medical purposes designed to meet the particular dietary needs of the infant up to the 6th month in the event of frequent episodes of regurgitation.
The Aptamil AR 1 formula contains: GOS FOS prebiotics, the exclusive fermented Lactofidus and also locust bean gum. The latter is a natural thickener which acts by absorbing water, so as to increase the viscosity of the reconstituted product and therefore reduce its resurgence: a key element for the dietary management of regurgitation.

The product must be used under the supervision of the pediatrician. The product can be used as the only source of nourishment for infants up to the 6th month completed. The product must not be used parenterally. Not suitable for premature infants.

How to store and use

WARNING: Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the health of the infant.
Before preparing, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring. Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle when lukewarm.
To obtain a well-leveled measuring cup, after filling it, remove the excess powder using the practical leveler
on the side of the package. Add the level measuring spoons of powder following the indications in the average feeding table.
Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder and wait about 5 minutes for the product to thicken. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the wrist.
It is recommended to prepare the product only at the time of the meal and to consume it within half an hour . Do not heat or boil the product once prepared.
Do not reuse any leftover product.
Once opened, the package must be closed properly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator).
The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
