What are the dimensions of the baby mats?

The mattresses and sheets have different dimensions depending on the structure of the cot or bed that they are to occupy. There are four standard sizes in our industry:

  • The wheelchair of the trio is the smallest structure and the internal dimensions are in fact about 70×30 cm;
  • The co-sleeping cradle, i.e. the famous Next to me that can be attached near a double bed, instead has a standard size of about 85×50 cm;
  • The camping cot, which is the classic cot that we can use with grandparents or when we go on vacation, thanks to its comfortable and compact closure, has a standard size of 60×120 cm;
  • Finally, the classic wooden cot, depending on the company, can have a mattress of different sizes. It can vary from 60×120 cm to 64×124 cm.

Then there are the wicker cradles, which however have a particular size and different from each other. For this reason there is no standard mattress and it is always made to measure.

What types of baby mattresses can we choose?

After we understand the dimensions we need, we can choose the mattress, and here too we have different types. The quality of a mattress can depend on its thickness and obviously on the materials that make up both its interior and its cover. A mattress inside can be made of different materials, for example it can be a polyurethane foam mattress, a memory form mattress, a thermo-regulated fiber mattress, a coconut fiber mattress, a latex mattress, a fiber mattress carbon or silver etc. Each type of material has different beneficial properties and for this reason its value will vary.
It is also important that the mattress also has a removable mattress, to be able to wash it easily. Just speaking of lining, there are different materials, for example you can have the lining in bamboo fiber or even in cashmere. Finally, to cover the mattress, you will need the sheets that are divided into bottom sheets with corners and top sheets without corners. In most cases, the bedsheets in the carrycot will be made entirely of cotton and will be divided into plain colored sheets, sheets with printed patterns and embroidered sheets. Among the mattresses that can be chosen there are also those for strollers that are used as a stroller reducer and are used to improve the comfort of the seat.
