There are various models of ride-on games for children and, among these, the multifunctional ones can be used as early as twelve months of age.
The main feature of the multifunctional ride-ons is given by the presence of some additional elements that can be removed as needed. An example is represented by the safety wheels, to be positioned when the child is very small and to be removed when he manages to be more stable and safe.
Some ride-ons are real swings that move back and forth thanks to a special bar that can be removed, transforming the toy into a push ride-on.

Ride-on games for the older ones

As children gain a higher level of balance and stability, they can enjoy playing with a ride-on car or ride-on motorcycle. Both games can be used from two to five years old depending on the size of the game itself.
With these two toys, children will also be able to better develop coordination thanks to the presence of handlebars and steering wheels to move according to the direction to follow.
In general, this type of ride-on toy is also suitable for use in outdoor environments but, for greater safety and to avoid risks, it is advisable to check the characteristics of the wheels in the packaging or on the manufacturer's website, which must be made with materials suitable for withstanding harder and more difficult to walk outdoor floors such as, for example, gravel or sand.
