Obviously there is no ban on using common small pasta instead of specific lines of pasta for the first few months, however it cannot be denied that there are several advantages in doing so.
First of all, children's pasta cooks faster, just 4-5 minutes in boiling water, and is available in a huge variety of formats, even tiny ones, suitable for very first meals.
Furthermore, they are generally made with easily digestible, controlled and usually organic soft wheat, but above all enriched with vitamin B1, which is very important for growth.

The doubt of all mothers: gluten danger?

The presence of gluten in carbohydrates and therefore the risk of celiac disease is always a cause for concern for mothers who wean their children, for this reason it is important to rely on the expert directives of a pediatrician especially if there are other family members who suffer.
Otherwise the important thing, and this applies to all foods, is to proceed gradually and carefully observe how the newborn reacts to the new meal, since it is difficult to identify any symptoms of this disorder especially in children.
