"Stories to read" with children

"Storie da leggere" con i bambini
The 3 volumes just published by Emme Edizioni, dedicated to children aged around 3 (48 pages, 11.90 euros each), are entitled 'Stories to read'. All 21 stories are signed by Stefano Bordiglioni, designed specifically to stimulate the pleasure of listening and reading in the little ones: in fact, we can trace the usual delicacy that distinguishes the writing of the author from Forlì, further softened by the illustrations by 3 established Italian female artists . So children can follow the stories through the images, having fun and appreciating the magic that each book brings. The first volume is 'Stories to read to my child', illustrated by Barbara Vagnozzi with a playful and colorful style. The images on the right capture the imagination while on the left scroll the stories: 'The cone hat', 'The little horse', 'The wooden train'…. 7 short and instructive stories, small daily adventures similar to those that every young reader can experience. Thus identification becomes an immediate instrument of involvement The 'Stories to read to my little girl' are accompanied by illustrations by Sofia Boccato. We are pleased to discover his delicate touch, the preponderance of pastel colours, the geometric shapes which form the background for the texts and the rounded features for the characters. 7 stories here too: 'The mystery of the missing biscuits', 'Margherita and the singing flower', 'The pacifier', 'The music box'… For little girls who daydream. Finally, here are the 'Stories to read with mum and dad', in which the effective simplicity of Cristina Spanò's pencil is striking: some stories feature pairs of children, always brother and sister, other cute little animals. There are 'The clouds and the sheep', 'The grasshopper', 'The most beautiful garden in the world'… And then 'The evening tale', which reminds us once again of the extraordinary power of stories and books, which leave let your imagination run free. www.edizioniel.com By Sara Lanfranchini | Taken from Being Born a Mom
