In the kitchen with Iperbimbo: Turkey and chard roll

Ingredients for 4 people)
4 slices of turkey breast
20 leaves of chard
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
salt
PREPARATION
Wash and dry the beets. Spread the turkey slices on a cutting board, stuff them with the chard leaves and roll them up, sealing them well (even with a toothpick or a bit of kitchen string) so they don't open during cooking. Brown the rolls obtained with a drizzle of oil, turning them several times to brown them evenly.
Wet with 2 tablespoons of water, cover and cook for about 15 minutes. Salt lightly, cut the rolls into slices (thus obtaining small rolls) and serve, accompanying with mashed potatoes.
As an alternative to chard leaves, you could use carrots, green beans, chicory, potatoes, peppers, aubergines or zucchini. Lots of different vegetables to create surprising and good variations, perfect for enticing your children to eat more vegetables.
