Anti abandonment device

The decree has been approved which provides for the obligation to fit a seat with an anti-abandonment device in the car when traveling with children on board . The measure, made necessary by the growing number of cases of dissociative amnesia , will take effect on July 1, 2019 . The characteristics that the seats, or the technological devices integrated with them, must have in order to comply with the law still need to be specified. There is also talk of an economic incentive for the replacement of old car seats. The same penalties will apply as for those who do not fasten the seat belt or for those who make the child travel outside the child seat: fines starting from 81 euros and 5 points less on the licence.
