Looking for dog for baby

Cercasi cane per bebè
When it comes to dogs, it is known that each breed has different and well-defined peculiarities : just as there are hunting, defense and companion dogs, so it is possible to identify the most suitable ones (generally the most docile and patient) to coexist with a child. Without claiming to be exhaustive, we present some of the best types for this purpose, so that you can consciously choose the dog of your dreams.
BEAGLE

Medium size, originally a hunting and retrieving dog, he is balanced, energetic, sociable, tolerant and loves children. He doesn't need much care, but loves to run around and let off steam.

BERNESE BOVAR

Guard and shepherd dog, it has a calm and affectionate character and loves to be cuddled and abused by children.

Condescending and easy to educate, it needs a lot of space to move.

HUNGARIAN BRACCO

Widely used for hunting, given its infallible nose, it is sweet, affectionate, intelligent and loyal: an excellent companion for children, even the smallest ones. It loves the great outdoors.

BULLDOG

Tough appearance but docile and affectionate character. Suitable for apartment life, he loves children, is quite lazy and always needs pampering.

BULL TERRIERS

A good companion dog, he is loyal, very attached to the family and devoted to his master, affectionate and full of energy. Very patient with children.

PUG

Small in size, it is a perfect companion and apartment dog. He loves to rest as much as to play with children. The awkward appearance and the typical 'growls' make him even more likeable.

COL LIE SCOTTISH SHEPHERD

He is affectionate and perfect even for first-time families. Full of energy, its long and thick coat needs frequent grooming.

GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

Reliable, faithful, intelligent and playful, he loves children. It prefers meadows and vast spaces, given its considerable size (but, unlike other dogs, it can also adapt to living in an apartment)

LABRADOR

Employed in various fields, from mountain rescue to anti-drugs, he is courageous, tied to his family and a lover of children. It needs movement but also adapts to apartment life

IRISH SETTER

Used for woodcock hunting, it is also a good companion dog: docile and cuddly, it loves being with children. Requires large open spaces.

NEWFOUNDLAND

The dog babysitter par excellence. Affectionate and caring, it becomes aggressive to defend the owner and the family. Given the size, in the apartment it risks suffering.
