LEVICO (TR)

The Christmas market in Levico Terme, in Trentino Alto Adige, has the flavor of an ancient fairy tale, thus inserted in the Secular Park of the Habsburgs. In this natural oasis, 60 traditional wooden houses offer the excellence of their handcrafted products and all the taste of mountain flavours, such as polenta and malga cheese. Here you will also be able to meet Santa Claus, who will personally collect the letters from all the children, while in the Wood of the Elves his helpers will do their best to make their wishes come true. From November 25th to January 6th.

AOSTA

The Marché Vert Noël Christmas market, the archaeological area of ​​the Roman Theater of Aosta in an Alpine village. Every day, visitors can browse along the 'streets' of the village in search of unusual gift ideas, including local specialties, wines, manual arts, objects of yesteryear, gift thoughts, Nordic inspirations. The productions include candles, handcrafted soaps, ceramics, handcrafted wooden objects, antique objects and furniture, lace, Christmas decorations, typical Aosta Valley food and wine products, objects made with the découpage technique or with other manual techniques. From November 25th to January 7th.

BRESSANONE (BZ)

In South Tyrol it is a succession of typical Christmas markets. Bressanone aims at a varied and diversified offer: from guided tours to historical theater tours, between the Middle Ages and modernity; from the multimedia show 'Soliman's dream 3' (plays of light and music in the courtyard of the Bishop's Palace) to local choirs in different areas of the city. In Bressanone, children and parents can write Christmas greetings together and send them from the Christkindl post office; every Saturday, moreover, the Bressanone Christmas Angel is present at the market, to surprise the children present with small gifts. From November 24th to January 6th.

The highlight : once again in 2017, the original South Tyrolean markets can boast the Green Event certification, including Brixen.

NAPLES

The Christmas markets in Naples are open all year round, but it is between November and December that the atmosphere becomes truly magical. It is a real area of ​​the city dedicated to Christmas: in via San Gregorio Armeno, the famous via dei presepi in Spaccanapoli, there are shops specialized in the nativity scene, where you can find everything from classic figurines to accessories to create the animated crib, from the caricatures of famous characters, Totò and Maradona in the lead, to the moscalla, a tiny shepherd statue.
