Breastfeeding and meal vouchers

Allattamento e buoni pasto
New working mothers and working fathers have the right to a rest period, as defined by art. 39 Legislative Decree no. 151/2001. However, it is important to know that mothers who request permission to breastfeed will not be entitled to meal vouchers during the contextual period. The law states that the meal voucher is due to the worker employed for at least 6 hours a day , with a lunch break of no less than 30 minutes (a break which is regularized as it is considered essential for the worker's psychophysical well-being). With breastfeeding, female workers are usually employed for less than 6 hours: no break longer than 30 minutes or return after a meal, therefore no right to vouchers . Do not shoot the messenger!
